Student Mentor Program
The Thunderbird International Film Festival is structured to develop the leadership skills and technical skills through mentorship. A responsible adult board member oversees and mentors an upper-division student who can delegate to lower-division students and community volunteers.

The founder, Mariam Arthur, continues to oversee and motivate those involved with the operation of the Festival. Every month, she returns to Cedar City to meet with key figures.
