The Thunderbird Film Festival is proud to return for its seventh annual event, held in beautiful southern Utah on the campus of Southern Utah University. Thunderbird is an authentic film festival showcasing student and independent films in a personal “down-home” atmosphere. Thunderbird facilitates interaction between students and professionals, as well as between filmmakers and festival-goers.

Thunderbird emphasizes family friendly films with allowances for cultural differences. This niche in the festival industry compliments the local community. The festival is comprised of two competitions: Thunderbird (main) and High School. The main competition divisions and categories are designed for fair adjudication.
